The Huebner Scholarship Committee met on September 10, 2009 to select the recipients of the scholarships for the 2009-2010 school year. The following students were chosen to receive scholarships.

Huebner Scholarship Recipients

· Alison Podlaski, of Fort Wayne, IN  the daughter of Kevin P. Podlaski who served with WJEA with the 1st Infantry Division from June 1998 to June 1999 in Wurzburg, Germany.  Alison is attending the University of Notre Dame where she is majoring in Biology/Pre-Med.

. Christina Sliepka, of  Oswego, IL, whose father, Louis Sliepka served in the 1st Infantry Division in B Battery, 2nd Battlion, 3rd Air Defense Artillery from September 1988 to January 1992.  Christina is attending Marquette University where she is majoring in Biomedical Science, Pre-Med.

· Michelle Ward, of Honolulu, HI, the daughter of David Ward who served in 101 MI Battalion from August 2000 to July 2001.  Michelle is attending the University of Virginia and is as yet undecided about her major.
